First day of school

Today my baby headed off to kindergarten. Macey has been preparing for this day for such a long time. Emily started 2nd grade today. Can you believe they are getting so big?

Off to the Dallas Zoo!

Today we went to the zoo with Clayton, Oliver and Aunt Erica. We had so much fun. The best part was when Erica pulled out Macey's 2nd tooth. 

After we left the zoo we headed up to Jones Elementary to find out who Macey and Emily's teachers were going to be for the upcoming school year.

Emily was so excited to find out Mrs. Barnes was going to be her teacher!!!

...and then there was Macey who found out she was going to be in Mrs. Bello's kindergarten class. She was smiling from ear to ear. She was so happy!

The tooth fairy came to visit last night

I never thought the tooth fairy would come visit Macey before she even started kindergarten, but after losing her tooth yesterday morning the tooth fairy owed her a visit last night. Macey told us to tell the tooth fairy she did not want dollars-only quarters.  She was so excited to wake up this morning and see quarters, nickels and dimes. When I asked Macey what the tooth fairy does with all of those teeth she responded with, "she makes a castle."

Cleaning Day...

Today was supposed to be cleaning day, but everything Emily and Macey picked up seemed to end up as some type of fashion accessory. 

At least they were having fun!!!

I guess it is TIME!!!

I guess because I am listed on someone else's blog now I should start putting a little something on my blog. Don't expect much! It takes about three months for me to  just upload pictures to my computer. Maybe I can make this my new hobby and actually write down what my girls are doing, since I didn't do it when they were younger. I will give it a try and see how it goes. Again don't expect much.
