Christmas Morning!

Santa left so many gifts at our house. We had to wake the girls up to open their gifts, because they were so worn out from yesterday.

Stocking time
Look at these adorable quilts Mamapat made for Emily and Macey. They look so cute on their beds.

It has become a tradition for Nonna and Nonae to come over Christmas morning. Nonna cooks breakfast, and it is sooooo yummy. Mamapat, PapaJoe, Rin-Rin, Scott and Olivia joined us as well.

Christmas Eve

This afternoon we headed over to Grandma Gracie and Steves house to exchange gifts with the kiddos. The girls had so much fun.

Later in the evening we went to Nonna and Nonae's house. We ate dinner and then all headed upstairs for Santa to make his special visit.

Emily with her brand new computer from Santa. Nonna made a special request from Santa to get Emily, Macey and Clayton their own computers (and computer desks). What a special gift!

After the crazy night at Nonna and Nonae's house we headed home and got ready for Santa to come to our house. Santa got homemade cookies, but we forgot the milk!

Christmas Eve-Eve

This morning Olivia came over and we decorated cookies for Santa! This is definitely a Kimbrell girl tradition. Olivia had so much fun with the icing and sprinkles. There were sprinkles EVERYWHERE!!!
Later on in the evening we went over to Haw-Haw and Bob's for dinner.

Emily reading the Bible. She did a wonderful job.

Megan and Joey asked all of the kids to be in their wedding (Emily, Macey, Clayton, Oliver and Olivia). This was such a huge deal for lil' Macey. She was so excited.

Time to meet Santa

This morning Santa Claus made his way to the church for "Pancakes with Santa". The girls had a blast. They made food for the Santa's reindeer, and they made several art projects, but the best part was sitting on Santa's lap!

3-day walk

This year instead of walking 60 miles on the 3-day walk, my mom and I were on the medical team. It was fun, but very exhausting. It is amazing what all goes into an event like this and how it can impact so many lives.

Special K

Macey has been waiting all year for this week. She is "Special K" and so excited about it. We made this poster last night that she got to share with her class today. The poster will hang up all week. She also gets to bring one thing each day to share with the class-today she brought her dance trophy. This past week I had her parent teacher conference. To sum it all up-she is just perfect. She knows all of her numbers, colors, alphabet, letter sounds, and is working on reading. She is such a great student.

Nine Year Anniversary!

Tim and I have been married almost 9 years. We celebrated our anniversary this past weekend. My parents watched the girls -and we headed to uptown. We stayed at the Stoneleigh Hotel-it was so nice. We just enjoyed some time by ourselves-went out to eat and enjoyed some hot krispykreme doughnuts. We had a wonderful time.

Fun Fall Day

Today we went to carve pumpkins at South Fork Ranch. The Springs Church was trying to break a world record by having 1000 people carve pumpkins at the same time. There were not quite that many people there, but we had a great time. There was a petting zoo, pony rides, three-legged races, horseshoes, bounce houses, and 1000 pumpkins.

Macey had her first field trip today-we went to the Arboretum. She was so excited to ride a school bus for the first time-she kept telling me she didn't even have to wear a seatbelt. Erica and Oliver were there with some friends and family so we ate lunch with them. The kids had a blast on the field trip, but it was soooo crowded. We stayed in the pumpkin patch for the majority of the day.

Trying to get Oliver to stay still for a picture with Macey
Look at that cutie pie

Macey's Kindergarten Class
They went to a class called Pumpkin Circle. They had so much fun acting, coloring, planting, watching a video, and learning all about the life cycle of a plant.  Macey is picking a seed out of the pumpkin which she got to plant and bring it home to watch it grow.
